What we collect

When you place a request to purchase, join the mailing list, or contact Client Care, we receive your name, email address, shipping address, and order details. This information is required to process, make, and deliver your order. We never sell your data. A limited, hashed subset may be shared for advertising measurement — see Cookies & Analytics and Sharing & Storage below for exactly what and why.

How we use it

To fulfil orders, arrange shipping and repairs, respond to enquiries, and — if you have opted in — to send occasional house updates. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. We retain order records for legal and warranty purposes.

Cookies & analytics

We use Vercel Speed Insights and Vercel Analytics to understand performance and usage in an aggregated, anonymised way, and a single essential cookie to remember your bag contents while you browse. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which sets its own cookies to record anonymised heatmaps and session recordings of how the site is used, and the Meta Pixel, which sets advertising cookies (_fbp, _fbc) so we can measure the effectiveness of our advertising and show you more relevant Silkwoven & Co. ads. Where legally required, we will ask for your consent before these advertising and analytics cookies are set.

Sharing & storage

Your information is shared only with service providers required to operate the house — payment processing, shipping carriers, and hosting (Vercel). All are bound to handle your data with care. Data is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with the law.

For advertising measurement, we also share a small set of data with Meta (Facebook and Instagram) via their Conversions API — never your name or payment details, and never sold. This is limited to your email address and phone number in a one-way cryptographic hash (SHA-256, which Meta cannot reverse back into your original email or phone number), together with your IP address, browser type, and the advertising cookies described above. Meta uses this only to match your visit to an ad you may have seen and to measure whether it led to a purchase.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact us at hello@silkwoven.com or via the contact form. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
